Militant groups in Somalia have unleashed a reign of terror in Somalia. They have now resorted to a new way of spreading terror amongst the people.
Recently, Al-Shabaab a militant group caught two young men, and accused them of spying. They decided to execute them before the people.
All the schools in the city were forced to close down as they insisted the children should see the men being shot before a firing squad.
Hundreds of people, mainly women and children, were forced out of their houses, by militants who were patrolling the town with loudspeakers, into an open space, to witness the execution of the two men.
They have been constantly trying to brainwash the younger generation by engaging them in violence. As prizes for quizzes, they distribute hand grenades, AK-47 assault rifles and anti-tank mines.
Parents are advised to teach their children the use of weapons as they have to defend their country and their religion and should not waste their time in studies.
Activists who are fighting for the cause of these of children believe that the fanatic militant group, Al-Shabaab is trying to brainwash these kids by forcing them to believe in Islamic fanaticism, so that they never fall short of recruits in their evil designs of establishing an Islamic rule in Somalia and far beyond its frontiers.
