The mother plays a very important role in a child’s life. It is she who teaches it the importance of values, the difference between good and bad and the sense to choose between the right and wrong and protects it. But if the child’s safety is at jeopardy, if the mother is not capable of giving her the right upbringing, does she still deserve its custody.
Janine Lindemulder, a porn star, has been fighting a battle with her ex-husband Jesse James and his wife Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock for the custody of her 5 year old daughter Sunny.
Janine was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment for not paying her back taxes which amounted to $200,000. Meanwhile Jesse and his wife had the child’s sole guardianship.
They learnt that when sunny was with Janine, she had violated a court order which said that her child will not have any contact with her new husband, Jeremy James Aikman, who is a criminal.
James and Bullock of accused Janine of being a threat to their daughter as she did not keep good company.
James said in a court statement. “Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if (Sunny) will be safe with (Lindemulder). She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and their unsafe environments.
Lindemuler on the other hand is bent upon taking Sunny’s custody. “What gives her the right to take away my daughter? I am the best mother I can be. I absolutely have made horrific choices in the past,” said Janine.
Sandra has no kids of her own and “she loves to be a stepmom to Jesse’s three kids.”
While LindeMuler insists on talking to Sandra as she feels that one needs to communicate before building opinions.
