Playmate Ida Ljungqvist

Ida Ljungqvist was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for March 2008. Ida Ljungqvist was born in Africa, Tanzania to be precide. She is an offspring of a Swedish father and a Tanzanian mother. Being from Africa makes her the first African who made it to the playmate title. She was discovered by 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood at a Bebe clothing boutique on Rodeo Drive.

Rodeo Drive is where all the stars shop. The shops over there are like five star hotel boutiques. You have to see the movie Pretty women to understand what Rodeo Drive is all about.

Due to Ida Ljungqvist father’s work for United Nations, Ida Ljungqvist traveled quite a bit as a child: in Africa she has lived in a lot of countries including Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa, Zimbabwe; in Asia, in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand; in Europe, in France, the U.K., Sweden, and Denmark, and currently, in the United States, in California. She speaks English, Swedish, and Swahili.

Ida Ljungqvist has earned an honors degree in fashion design, and plans to study further. Perhaps get some degree in economics. But looking at her fashion career she might consider putting the books on the back burner for now. Check out the youtube video clip that I have included below:
