Mary Delgado arrested for assaulting ‘Bachelor’ fiance Byron Velvick
It’s been anything but a fairytale week for The Bachelor’s producers and the show’s white picket fences facade.
On the same night that the ABC reality dating show’s After the Final Rose broadcast was trotting them out as a “success story” counterpoint to eleventh-season The Bachelor star Brad Womack’s decision to reject both of his final suitors, Mary Delgado was arrested for assaulting Byron Velvick, the fiance that proposed to her at the end of The Bachelor’s sixth season.
Mary Delgado was arrested on Wednesday during morning time I believe by the local sheriff and charged with domestic battery. Thats a heavy charge by any count.
Mary looked pretty neat during the show but here she is hardly recognizable. Where she has fallen. Quite unfortunate. But thats how this fickle industry operated.
Mary Delgado was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and was released on her own recognizance later that afternoon.
