Allison Stewart NPR

EX MSNBC anchor reporter and person extra ordinaraie American sweetheart Alison Stewart (so says Chris, who worked with her too) will be guest hosting The Rachel Maddow Show tonight and tomorrow night. This comes after some not-so-great reviews for Arianna Huffington’s guest hosting last night.
HAHA…Arianna is a liberal and she has a very good website running. But hey she has the most pronounced accent I ever saw on national telivision.
Many among my generation know Alison Stewart from her hey days on MTV as a pioneer of the network’s popular and influential “Choose or Lose” show of the 1992 and 1996 Presidential elections.
Fast forward to the present and Allison Stewart is a talented award-winning broadcast journalist with credentials from CBS News, ABC News, and most recently MSNBC News. Last year she joined NPR as co-host of the morning news show The Bryant Park Project, which finally got over in July 2008.

I commend Arianna for the best news site on the web. However, if she really wants to be on tv, then I suggest a speech coach. I say this with love.
As for Allison, wow! She is smart, talented and beautiful. She is a joy to watch.

Really impressed with Allison.
Smart. Energetic and witty with the prefect pitch and pacing for Rachel’s show. While I admire Arrianna’s website and
on- camera interviews, she was dragging as a host for this particular program. I found myself pulling for her while at the same time gritting my teeth. I tend to like Maddow, Obermann and Matthews for that mixture of irony,
pacing and energy.
