The San Diego Coronado Bridge is referred by the locals of the city as the Coronado Bridge. This bridge is a “prestressed concrete and steel” girder bridge that allows the motorists to cross San Diego Bay between the cities of San Diego and Coronado in California. The bridge is signed as part of State Route 75.
One interesting fact that might hold some attention for you is that it is the third most deadliest suicide bridge in the country. Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, CA, is the number one and the Aurora Bridge in Seattle, WA is the second most fatal bridge.
The traffic on this bridge is generally moving and I have hardly seen any jams on this bridge. There are jams before this bridge, meaning the traffic is much more slow sometimes on the road approaching the bridge but on the bridge itself the speed is fairly paced out.
