Hornets are making all the right moves to bring more power to their all American bench lineup behind uber jock Chris Paul by getting Antonio Daniels from the Wizards as part of a three-team trade.
To accomplish this move, Hornets had to trade off reserve guard Mike James. Can’t blame the Hornets since Mike James had been out of play after starting the season as Paul’s number one backup.
The man behind this move was none other than the coach of Hornets Coach Byron Scott. The Coach asked the GM of the team to pursue this move of getting literally rid of Mike James. Mike also seemed in interesting in getting out since he hardly played any of the previous games.
Mike James thought sitting on the bench was for the birds and he was not one, so he felt he need to get into a new team. The Coach did not disagree with this.
I am not sure the exact salary Mike Jones is earning but even the bench warmers easily make a cool million bucks. Does anybody have exact figures or its just plain speculation.
