US singer Phoebe Snow is to undergo DNA tests to prove that she does not belong to the African American community. This decision comes after Snow was named as one of New Jersey’s great Black music personalities and was placed alongside names like Steve Wonder and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
In an interview to a New York magazine Snow acknowledges that she had to face questions regarding her roots from the very beginning of her career and the new magazine article has prompted her more to finally settle the whole matter by going for the DNA test. She is hopeful that this test will give all those answers regarding her family tree that is bugging everybody for a long time.
