American Television bid goodbye to the last “Girl” finalist of the American Idol, Allison Iraheta, witnessed by the entire world on Wednesday. She was in line with others in the bottom three, thrice from the time she is contending for the title. She wasn’t the obvious choice for the title, as there were others with better popularity rate. However, she was the last girl finalist. The little back and froth that she had with Simon Cowell couldn’t save her from the elimination. Her feisty outlook on the show couldn’t win the audience’s heart, it seems. What ever said and done, it is a fact that she survived the other 4 lady contenders. The 17 year old managed well to hangout that long on the show.
Right now there would be nothing that would comfort the heart of Allison Iraheta however, let’s pray history repeats itself. Being dropped out from the show as the one of the four finalists for the title is not all that bad as it might seem. Chris Daughtry, who was eliminated three years a go came as a shocking surprise to the American audiences. He stated that he felt as if the world has come to an end when his elimination was announced but then it took him 30 seconds to come off the negativity of the situation. And he was back on stage on Wednesday performing “No Surprise”, a debut song from his second album. Chris Daughtry’s first album sold about 5 million copies. How can the success of Chris Daughtry’s singing talent be justified by the elimination that he faced 3 years ago? Some respite Allison Iraheta is expected to get from Chris Daughtry’s success story.
Danny Gokey, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are the three in the boxing ring fighting to be christened the next “American Idol”. Danny Gokey’s glory note makes him optimistic around wining the title. He adds that adding that note was the funniest moment that he had and he is expecting to get to act in at least a movies because of the last night scream.
Kris Allen stated that he never expected that he could get that far when he was intervened by Ryan during the Star Show. Simon Cowell didn’t seem very happy about the humbleness that Kris demonstrated. He expected the contender of American Idol to show a more confidence than that.
Most only these American Idol finalists rock the floor but Paula Abdul one of the judge set the stage on fire by performing “I’m Just Here for the Music”. The real fire would be when the American Idol would be announced.
