Chris Brown, born May 5th 1989, birth name Christopher Maurice Brown is an actor and a recoding artist. He was arrested on Feb 8, 2009 after being reported of felony assaults at Rihanna, his then girlfriend. Police during the arrest vouched for Chris Brown’s involvement in a fright at the Hancock Park neighborhood, it was later revealed that the women he caught up a fight with was Rihanna.
Attorney Mark Geragos is fighting on behalf of Chris Brown. These days he is been busy investigating the LAPD records. The records that are under his scrutiny ware not only the investigation records but also the personal files of the police officers involved.
He filed the same on Wednesday. He wrote that he wants the LAPD records so that he could see if he could question the police witness to prove that his client was innocent. He showed interest in finding out if there were any traces of misconduct by the police, he could use the same as well to get relief for the singer. Further he asked for the record that has investigation details around the leaking of Rihanna’s bruised and battered photographs. These photographs were leaked o the TMZ website. The obvious reason of such an act was leaked to vilify Chris brown and at the same time to earn profits by selling the photos. He added that it is some one from the LA Police Department who has sold the celebrity photographs to the website.
Chris Brown’s attorney further showed his concern on the fact that the photos would be viewed by millions of people out their and would have its obvious impact on his client’s image. Meanwhile Brown is free after he was bailed.
Though, as an answer to the allegation Geragos had against the LAPD, the department has lunched its investigation to understand how these photos got to the TMZ website. When they were question about the proceedings of the investigation, the spokesman of the LAPD said on Thursday that there isn’t any update as yet.
Meanwhile the squeaky clean Chris brown’s image has been devastated. He had to wash his hands of certain high profiled events that included the Grammy awards as well. His music is also boycotted by several radio stations.
On the other hand, there wasn’t much heard or seen from Rihanna’s end. Rihanna’s attorney said that he would prefer if the case could be resolved with out the involvement of his client. Rihanna is also a Barbados born singer, now 21 years.
The hearing of the case is scheduled on May 28th.
