An alternate Miss California is appointed filling in for the Carrie Prejean by the pageant officials who are now frustrated. The alternate for Miss California was appointed on Monday. Every thing started when Carrie Prejean being the Christian beauty queen risked her crown by her views about gay marriage, saying that she was anti it. The fire got worse when her topless shoot photos were exposed. The executive directors of Miss California USA, Donald Trump said that they were left with no other choice but to have some one else to represent that Golden State. The controversies regarding Prejean, 21, were too empowering.

Donald Trump, had called for a press conference on Tuesday to announce if Carrie Prejean after pageant financed breast implant, anti gay statement and topless snaps could keep the Miss California title or not.
Keith Lewis who is the co-executive director of the Miss California USA pageant made it very clear at the conference that Tami Farrell who was the Miss California USA runner up would fill in for Carrie Prejean in case she is unavailable or if she is deemed not fit otherwise. He said that noting is decided as such, it’s for Donald Trump to decide. Farrell, the runner up is expected to automatically wield the inheritance of the crown in case it is denied to Carrie Prejean.
Carrie Prejean on the other hand is claiming that she stands by what she said and she has that right to state her mind. Being and saying what she feels about a specific thing is her constitutional right. With the controversies, she is saying that the answer has cost her the Miss USA Crown. Having a point of view is the right of every American and she is disturbed to see the cost that she had to pay excising that right.
She could be seen in various commercials and TV shows opposing gay marriages. The same sex wedding is legal in 5 US states however not in California. Her comments regarding the same – sex wedding came at a very wrong time. The topic was in debate during the same time in California, that is the reason why it gained the momentum that it did.
Keith Lewis, co-executive director of the Miss California USA pageant, said that the pageant has violated her contract as she was operating independently. There were situation, where in it was difficult to contact her because of the new attorneys she had. Not only this according to Lewis, she had missed certain scheduled appearances as Miss USA. And most of it as she going ahead with the interviews regarding her views, as the idea is that she should honor the title by bringing people together rather than creating fiction.
