When Kate & Jon Gosselin stated with the reality show called “Jon & Kate Plus 8”, Kate for sure didn’t see the negatives coming the name and fame that she was getting with the show. The mother of eight kids seems to have survived the tabloid firestorm that came around his husband Jon Gosselin’s affair with another women, 23 years old Deanna Hummel. She is determined that like other married couples face certain turmoil, this was noting more than that. And they would work out to get over this as well. However, she seemed quite reluctant to accept that her husband was cheating on her. She said that she herself was surprised by the paparazzi and attention the thing has attracted.
Gosselin was intervened at TODAY show about the best selling book called “Eight Little Faces,” But it seemed that most the air time was devoted to the controversies around her husband having an affair with Deanna Hummel. Initially for the interview, other than Kate, the eight kids and Jon were invited. After the tabloid only Kate Gosselin was aired.
However, there was a statement by Jon, denying all such rumors of his having an affair and cheating on his wife. He said that Hummel was just a friend and he met her in January at a bar. He further insisted that his family was his priority and he was sorry to have dragged this family in such an awkward position. He said the bottom line was that he was not cheating on his wife and admitted that he didn’t anticipate such a public eye around him. He said that he would be now conscious of his behavior and of those he associates with.
The news of Jon having an affair with Hummel started when Hummel’s brother, Jason attributed these to the gossip magazine. Though Deanna Hummel is denying all such allegation and is supporting Jon when he says that both of them are friends. However, Jason, Deanna Hummel’s elder brother, with whom she shares the accommodations, says that Jon has been spending time with his sister in the privacy of her room. He added that he as head them having sex as well. Hummel is reverting on such statement saying that she couldn’t digest the fact that Jason is saying such things and she herself is confused that why would he be doing so.
Kate concluded by saying that she really doesn’t believe that Jon is unfaithful. They would continue with their lives without being effected by such stores.
