Angles & Demons is the upcoming Tom Hanks film, releasing on the 15th of this month. The Da Vinci Code, despite being mediocre film earned pretty well at the box office. Expectations are running high for Tom Hanks Angles & Demons as well.
Besides the hair do another dissimilarity of Angles & Demons to The Da Vinci Code is the actress Ayelet Zurer. Besides that catholic operative’s role is played by Ewan McGregor, this is an adaptation from Dan Brown’s thriller based novel “Angels & Demons”. Ron Howard is directing this movie marking a come back. Most of the movie is short at the recreated sets imitating the interiors of Sistine Chapel along the other Roman Churches that are famous landmarks.
The movie had its world premier in Rome. Brown, the novelist joined Ewan McGregor, Ron Howard and Toms Hank on Monday at the Rome’s auditorium to screen the movie. The movie is already into controversies when Ron Howard claimed that Vatican interference was felt while getting permits around shooting the movie in Rome. The answer to which was “publicity stunt” by the Vatican. The Da Vinci Code attracted criticism from the top officials of the church as they disagreed with the idea of Jesus being married and having a kid as well.
Tom hanks said while comparing the new release to The Da Vinci Code that Angels & Demons is a fast paced movie. Before the film was screen, Hanks said that the movie could be compare to the big bang. He said that he liked the situations in the film as he was able to sense a familiar taste however, the form was quite different.
Brown on the other hand seemed very humble and modest around the novel he wrote. He simply said that he was fortunate to witness the success that the thriller based novel has got. He liked reading his novel and was happy that most of the people out there could identify with the taste he has.
