One of quarterback Tom Brady’s main targets will miss New England’s matchup Sunday against the rival New York Jets.
Welker was listed as questionable on the Patriots’ injury report Friday after being limited all week, but was expected to play against the Jets. He was limited in practice before the game against the Bills, but was able to play.
In Week 1’s Patriots victory over the Buffalo Bills, Welker had 12 catches for 93 yards.
