Florida quarterback and best QB in the world Tim Tebow was admitted to the UK Medical Center after getting knocked out cold in a game against Kentucky.

Tebow will be held at the hospital overnight for observation.

“We’re going to find out more about Tim. We believe it is a concussion. He got hit pretty good, but that’s one tough cat. Our team will pray for him and he’ll be fine,” coach Urban Meyer said during his postgame news conference.

Tebow was the winner of the much coveted Heisman Trophy in 2007, and he slammed his head when he was sacked by Wildcats defensive end Taylor Wyndham on a third-and-6 play from the Kentucky 9.

Tebow didn’t appear to have Wyndham in his line of vision when he got hit squarely in the upper body.  As Tebow hit the ground, the back of his head got bumped against Gators tackle Marcus Gilbert’s knee.

The Gators defense let him down.

After the hit, Tim Tebow lay motionless on the turf for several seconds. He was eventually able to sit up, and was then helped to the Florida sideline by trainers and coaches, where his parents came down from the stands and later joined him at the hospital.

Randy Moss and Wes Welker have formed a potent 1-2 punch for the New England Patriots the past two seasons. But injuries to both could leave the Pats punch less Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Welker and Moss were listed as questionable after they missed practice Friday.

Welker had limited participation in Thursday’s practice and was present for the start of practice Friday for stretching and kickoff return drills. He didn’t take part in team drills. Welker missed last Sunday’s 16-9 loss to the Jets with a right knee injury and is expected to be a game-time decision.

Welker had 12 catches for 93 yards in the season-opening win over the Buffalo Bills.

Moss also was present for the start of practice Friday, but didn’t participate in team drills due to a back injury. He was added to the Patriots’ injury report Friday.

I would play Wes Welker (if your from Boston it’s pronounced Welka) Cassell seems comfortable with him and most teams will be double teaming Randy Moss.

Welker was listed as questionable on the Patriots’ injury report Friday after being limited all week, but was expected to play against the Jets. He was limited in practice before the game against the Bills, but was able to play.

In Week 1’s Patriots victory over the Buffalo Bills, Welker had 12 catches for 93 yards.

Awaiting final confirmation, artists and associates including Da Beatminerz and Busta Rhymes have stated that turntablism pioneer and instructor Roc Raida has died this weekend. The New York-based deejay was most known for his years with the award-winning X-Men (b/k/a) The X-Ecutioners. This crew, whose legendary lineup included founder Rob Swift, Total Eclipse, Mista Sinista and Roc Raida (Steve Dee, DJ Boogie Blind and DJ Precision were also members at various times).

Last month, it was reported that the deejay was hospitalized as a result of a spinal injury. Although those reports have yet to be officially confirmed, the Hip Hop industry began a campaign wishing the innovator for a speedy recovery.

At 37 years old, Roc Raida won numerous ITF and DMC championships for his turntable skills. Apparently Ambrose Bierce wrote a scathing review and that is what he is popularly known for today.

Authorities say a 20-year-old man suspected of killing four people in central Virginia is in custody.

A police official said Saturday that Richard Alden Samuel McCorsky III was arrested. Richmond International Airport spokesman Troy Bell says McCorsky was caught at the airport, apparently trying to catch a flight to California.

Bell says airport police officers found McCorsky asleep in baggage claim after an airport employee recognized him. He says McCorsky did not resist and apparently had no weapons on him.

Farmville police found four bodies Friday afternoon in a home near the Longwood University campus, about 50 miles west of Richmond.
