The emergency services from LA are just reporting that Brittany Murphy was called into the Cedars Sinai Hospital and was declared dead on arrival by the staff.

Brittany Murphy’s husband dialed 911 and reported that Brittany Murphy has suffered Heart Attack

Hard to believe that Brittany Murphy who was only 32 years old could die from this.

Was is really heart attack or another case of Drugs Overdose?

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict, 28, were engaged on Christmas Day, 2006. The two were married at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara in front of 170 guests. Mowry walked down the aisle to a live performance by R&B singer Kenny Lattimore, who sang “For You.”

Is she nervous? “No!” she laughs. “Cory and I, we really built a foundation for ourselves. He’s my best friend. We work really hard at balancing our schedules,” she says. “A perfect example — I had a really hard day at work the other day, and he surprised me with flowers and then a romantic dinner. We’ve been dating seven years, and we still do stuff like that. We let each other know, ‘Yes, we’re working hard, doing what we’ve got to do, but I love you.’”

In fact, Tia says, they press each other forward professionally. “He actually coached me for ‘The Game,’ pushed me to go out for it. I didn’t think I could do it. It was such a different role for me, I really had to work hard.”

It was the 28th of June 2009. A tearful Janet stood on the stage at the 2009 BET Awards to pay homage to her brother MJ, who had left so suddenly, leaving the whole world shocked.

She took the mike and said, “My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful, so they elected me to be here to speak with you. To you Michael was an icon. to us, Michael is family and he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love, and for all your support. We miss him so much.”

And as she spoke the crowd came to a halt.

In her first interview after her brother’s death she told Harper’s Bazaar Magazine that she had stopped watching television after her brother’s death. The coverage she said “will drive you crazy.”

In the same interview she revealed that she had met her brother just six weeks before his death. “We had so much fun that day; we kept calling each other after and saying how great it was.”

And now Janet Jackson is all set to give her first full length interview to US network, since her brother’s death.

It will be the first time that the press and media will be allowed at her residence at California.

The programme host will be Robin Roberts of Good Morning America, from the ABC News. The hour long programme which is not yet recorded will be telecast on the 18th of November in US.

Rihanna the ‘umbrella’ singer had been assaulted by her ex- boyfriend Chris Brown. He had beaten her very brutally, for which he was sentenced to five years probation.

Rihanna was being interviewed on US TV, when she admitted that her reconciliation with her boyfriend had been the most embarrassing decision of her life.

She realized that it had been very foolish on her part to try to reconcile after that harrowing experience as any girl following her footsteps can get herself killed.

While Chris on the other hand has been apologizing to his fans for his behavior.

MTV shall interview him to give the people his side of the story.

Rihanna has been insistent that her decision to go back to Brown was because she had loved him unconditionally, but she had realized in time that it was not a wise decision because that she did not intend sending that message to her fans.

The wide publicity that this incident had given her had deprived her of the little privacy that she had otherwise enjoyed.

This publicity had been hard on her as it had exhibited those personal moments of her life which no one likes to share with others.

Spectacles For Translation?

Scientific Research has progressively made life much easier and comfortable for all of us. Modern devices have eliminated the hurdles of communication and interaction. One such hurdle is language which has been overcome by ‘Communication Access Real-Time Translation’(CART) which is used in voicewriting.

This software recognizes speech and immediately translates the spoken text into a written text.

NEC has used this technique to make spectacles that can simplify the spoken language by translating it into subtitles. The gadget looks like a pair of specs without lenses. It has a headset with a tiny projector which displays images on the user’s retina. It translates the conversation between two people speaking different languages.

This gadget which is called a Tele Scouter was introduced to help people in sales, interact with customers who spoke different languages. With this aid they could learn the purchase history of their client, which beamed before them, as they conversed.

It can also being used as a translation aid. The microphone on the headset picks up the conversation and with the help of CART, translates it and sends it back to the headset. As the conversation goes on, it is translated and the subtitles are beamed on to the retina, maintaining a smooth conversation.

This gadget can be very useful during confidential talks, where the presence of a translator is more of a hindrance.

Mr. Takayuki Omino the spokesperson of NEC informed that the ‘Tele Scouter’ will be launched in Japan in 2010, without the translation feature. The second version with subtitles will be launched in 2011.

A set of 30 headsets excluding the price of the translation software, will cost around 7.5 yen or 50,000 pounds.

The Anthem which has been initiated by the Mumbai police will be led by Sonu Nigam. The galaxy of singers, besides Amitabh Bacchan are Shaan, Kailash Kher, Roop Kumar Rathod, Hariharan, Jagjit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Suresh Wadkar, Talat Aziz,Alka Yagnik, Mahalaxmi , Kunal Ganjawala and Richa Sharma.

Sonu Nigam in conversation with HT City said, “I can’t tell you how special this anthem is for all of us. Since we feel collectively for the cause and respect each other, the end product is even better then we expected it to be.”

The anthem will be accompanied by a special video that will be shot at the venue.

The verse, “Ungli uthe to, koi badhe to, kar degi baghawat Mumbai” (if one tries to raise a finger, or if he comes in our way, Mumbai will retaliate) stands for communal harmony and unity.

Brimming with Patriotic fervor, this is a multi-lingual song with verses in Hindi, English and Marathi. This song will linger in one’s memory for years to come.
