Britney Spears in back with a bang. After the career sabbatical that included a whole series of events from her marriage, to 2 kids, then a divorce and the rehab episode. Britney was back rocking the stage at live late Tuesday night in a black wig with a white short skirt. She performed for 14 minutes nearly after 3 years, leaving her fans screaming with excitement at San Diego. The performance was staged at the San Diego House of Blues.

When Britney Spears started to lip-sync her tracks like – Do Something; Baby One More Time; Breathe on Me; Toxic and Baby One More Time the security guards had to intervene to keep the fans away from the edge of the stage. The Britney Spears stage performance was truly a come back. With the frequent fire costume changes, the smoke & light effects and the back up dancers; the stage was truly set on fire. Her rump shaking, twirls, sexy quick hip hop moves and head spins included in her Pussycat Dolls style choreography made her fans tap their feet. She even pulled up one of her male fans and started dancing around him, dazzled with the blonde dancers around.

Britney Spears has been planning for the performance that could mark her a comeback. The owner of the Millennium Dance Complex says that the singer has been practicing regularly for a couple of weeks at the dance complex. A source has revealed that the Tuesday show was just a glimpse of what is about to follow.

It is after June 2004 that Britney Spears has hit the stage. In fact the Onyx Hotel Tour in Dublin, Ireland was shortened after her knee injury. The fans were desperately waiting for her comeback. Her performance at San Diego House of Blues succeeded justifying the expectations of her fans.

Several other performances would include one at House of Blues in Anaheim on Wednesday; on Thursday she would be performing at Los Angeles House of Blues and on Sunday at House of Blues Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay. The performance would reportedly not include any new song.

Appearing on a Rolling stone magazine cover, looking wholesome in plain tee and jeans, Britney Spears resembled a pre meltdown innocent all American girl. This is not a first stint with the Rolling stone. Britney Spears has graced their many covers in the past. Which is why she appeared very comfortable and open in her interview.

Britney Spears spoke of her children learning swear words from their dad. She recalls each meeting with her children and how Preston occasionally uses the F word and she is adamant that it is their father’s influence and not hers. In the interview, she did not shy away from questions about her romantic relationship with the controversial ex Adnan Ghalib.

Britney also revealed how she is back on the dating scene but with strict chaperoning from her assistant Brett and Adam Leber, an associate of her manager, Larry Rudoph.

Britney was spotted at LAX airport in California taking a flight to Europe to promote her single, Womanizer. Her ever so protective dad was by her side and even put his hand on her mouth to prevent her from talking to the press.

She will be in London on Saturday to appear on ITV’s X Factor. It will mark Britney’s first UK television performance in five years.
