 The revenue curves of the pop singer Madonna for the year 2008 looks quite lucrative; with about $100 millions from the tours she made, topped with the various endorsements that she has and not to forget the one million albums that she sold in the US. But then she was in the public eye not because any of the above. She was in the lime light because of “Mercy James”

The 3 year old girl that she wanted to adopt from an orphanage at Malawi attracted attention, there are numerous objections being raised around it.

In fact, James Kambewa, the child’s father also asked the Malawi Law Society to cease the proceeding of the adoption basis that he was the biological father of the child that Madonna was intending to adopt. This case is noting but a clear indication of how people are obsessed with the private life of celebrities like Madonna.

Madonna’s Adoption Case is catching up even more fire. The Malawi court began deliberating on the singer’s bid to legally adopt the three year of girl, Chifundo. The girl Madonna is intending to adopt is from a southern African country. The man, James Kambewa, is trying to refrain this adoption, is suspected to be the girl’s biological father. Madonna was reportedly in a closed-door hearing at the Malawi’s high court on Monday. The judgment however, is not expected soon. This is Madonna’s answer to the lower court’s judgment denying her the adoption of the three year old girl, the reason of adoption denial is that she is not screened by Malawi authorities over time.

The court added by pointing out the fact around Madonna’s son’s adoption. It claimed that the rules were staked when she adopted David (Madonna’s adopted son) last year from Malawi.
